Audi’s Upcoming Electric Cars: 2024-2030

Audi A6 e-tron (Expected: 2024)

Audi is ready to enlarge it’s electric vehicle series of e-tron. The next in the line of company debut is The Audi A6 e-tron, a sleek sedan featured with all new cutting edge technology. But Audi says it’s super close to what the production car will look like. The model is based on the scalable Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture that can be lengthened, lifted, and widened for a variety of different EV models. It is note to known that It will be sold alongside the gas-powered A6 and will join the PPE-based Q6 e-tron crossover in Audi’s lineup. The A6 e-tron is also featured with two electric motors with a combined output of 469 horsepower with one driving each axle. All PPE vehicles have 800-volt charging capability, and this big sedan could have as much as 400 miles of range on a single charge. It is expected that the production version of the A6 e-tron will go on sale in next year.

Audi is set to introduced its all electric SUVs Q6 e-tron, position it between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron crossovers. The new model is ride on the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture as the upcoming Porsche Macan EV. Featured with a substantial 93.0-kWh battery, it’s expected to achieve a range of up to 315 miles in a full charge. It is provided with the 800-volt setup, that will facilitate rapid recharging. The Q6 e-tron, boasts a dual-motor all-wheel drive, pushing 375 horsepower, while the sportier SQ6 e-tron model elevates that to an impressive 482 horsepower. A boost mode adds around 20 horsepower for each model. During a test drive with a prototype, driver experienced a comfortable, well-controlled ride, coupled with lively acceleration. It is also said that the production is scheduled to commence next year, and by 2025. The Q6 e-tron will join Audi’s lineup alongside the gas-powered Q5.
