Recent memo circulating to dealers broke out that Audi is offering a free home EV charger with the purchase or lease of select e-tron models. It is a strategic move by the brand to attract environmentally conscious drivers.
The brand said the incentive is known as Charging Customer Support, started on December18. Further details tell that Audi gives the choice to the EV buyers between an Electrify America HomeStation Level 2 charger, value of $649 or a gift card worth $500. This choice caters to varying needs of the customers, accommodating to those who may already have a home charging solution.
This could be another impressive option for the EV buyers as Hyundai is also offering a similar deal. As you buy or lease a 2023 or 2024 IONIQ 5 or IONIQ 6 by January 2, 2024, you can get a ChargePoint L2 charger worth $549 and a $ 600 credit. The eligible model in this incentive is the 2023 Hyundai Kona. However it is also necessary that the model must be purchased through Hyundai Motor Financing.
This pathbreaking offer further extends to several other Audi’s 2023 and 2024 electric vehicles models. It includes the entry-level Q4 e-tron and the luxurious Q8 e-tron, along with the performance focused e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. Expected buyers have until January 2, 2024, to avail themselves of this electrifying opportunity without any obligation to finance the EV through Audi.
As the electric vehicle market is growing significantly, such incentives underscores the industrial shift towards electrification providing more consumer-friendly options. This financial incentive significantly reduces the out-of-pocket cost for customers. Also it helps the customers to drive the adoption of clean energy vehicles, with adding value to customer’s purchase.
