Ford, Data of Q4 sales of electric vehicles has revealed that, In December Ford and Lincoln sold 192,343 total vehicles in the U.S. market. Meanwhile both companies have sold almost 2 million of models for the entire 2023. With this figure both have witnessed a 7% year-over-year increase and a noticeable rebound after the pandemic.
In 2023 Ford became the second most popular EV brand after Tesla with delivery of over 72,000 all-electric vehicles. This shows the sales of Ford battery-electric vehicles improved primarily on all metrics. And the brand is momentous to a record month, record quarter and the best annual result.
In December, Ford alone sold 10,148 all-electric vehicles, which is 30% more than 2022 and a new monthly record. Further EVs represented about 5.5% of brand’s volume in comparison to previous year 4.5% at the same time.
To understand the brand growth it’s essential to dwell with the brands top electric models – The mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning and E-Transit that noted a continuous growth per year last month. Mach-E sales rose by 2% year-over-year to 4,863, E-Transit van more than doubled to 1,485 and the F-150 Lighting witnessed 61% to 3,800unit.

Ford sold more than 72,000 all-electric vehicles in 2023 in the U.S. that is 18%more than a year ago. That means the brand has been on the pace of recovery after the pandemic and that was the best year ever. That shows about 3.8% of the brand’s total volume. Meanwhile in the last quarter, Ford sold a total of 25,937 all electric vehicles, which amounted to 27.5% year-over-year growth with the brand’s total volume amounted to 5.6%.
