There is another new initiative added by Tesla to convince people to buy its vehicles by the end of the year. This time the automaker is offering 3 months of free Supercharging and Full Self-Driving to its customers added to FSD transfers, discounts and more.
The automaker is aiming to achieve a record number of at least 515,000 vehicles delivered in Q4 to keep its place in the market. If it could happen, this would be a first in a decade for Tesla. But for that the brand has to perform strongly in the North America market.
There is also good news for Tesla as Trump’s signaling of the removal of the $7,500 federal tax credit for electric vehicles. Is it to encourage people to get EV by the end of year before he takes power in January.
But it look like Tesla believes that it needs to put little bit more efforts to convince people to take delivery by the end of the year.
Tesla said it is offering buyers in North America 3 months of free full Self-Driving (Supervised) and Supercharging if they take delivery of a new inventory vehicle by December 31:
“Customers who take delivery of a new inventory vehicle between November 14, 2024 and December 31, 2024 are eligible for three months of free Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and Supercharging. Offer cannot be postponed to a later time or transferred to any other account or vehicle. An alternative option will not be made available to those who purchase Full Self-Driving (Supervised). Used vehicles and business orders are excluded from this promotion.”
In Europe Tesla is offering even deeper discounts on inventory vehicles in order to grab the foreign market.
It is expected that Tesla will also offer new deeper discounts further to get the benefits of losing the tax credit fear of the people. But will it help Automaker to achieve its target?
