The coming EV is based on the Hyundai’s E-GMP platform like other next-generation EVs, it is able to offers over 300 miles (480 km) range and fast charging (10% to 80%) in about 30 minutes.

Automaker has already debut its lower-priced electric models in the global markets. The recent launched EV5 in China with starting price tag of near $20,000 (149,800 yuan) has already making a significant impact in the market. Automakers has sold around 22,500 vehicles in August.
Another in the line-up is Kia’s EV3 which is also rolling out in the global markets. Starts at just over $30,000 (KRW 42.08 million) in its home market this is also takes the market like Europe $40,000 (36,000 euros).
Also speaking with Autocar last October, Kia’s CEO HO-Sung confirmed the EV2 will go on sale in 2026 with a target price of around $30,000 (£25,000) in Europe. Although in Korea the starting price of the EV could be around $15,000 (KRW 20 million).
