ZEEKR has officially public debuted its new 7X EV on the Friday during the Chengdu Motor Show. Brand has describes the new 7X EV as a versatile SUV for camping staycations. It is the five-seat SUV of ZEEKR that is ready to hit the global marker with it’s classic design and luxury.
ZEEKR has also said the new EV, called the 7X, will join its X SUV sibling as the second all-electric model to be sold globally. Two days after debut ZEEKR has also shared the more details and uncamouflaged images of the new “family-friendly” SUV, sharing that it will be the first to features the automaker’s new LFP batteries. These batteries can recharge from 10-80% in just 10.5 minutes.
Based on its parent company Geely’s 800V SEA architecture which help the vehicles to propel with a silicon carbide-powered motors. Further ZEEKR has offered the new SUV with two battery configurations. Customer can choose between a 75 kWh LFP battery, offers a CLTC estimated range of 605 km (376 miles) or a 100 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) pack that provides up to range of 780 km (485 miles).
It is said that the ZEEKR’s new 7X EV is actually faster than initially stated and should begging rolling out to the customers overseas by the end of the next month. However it is also unveiled that the dual-motor version of the 7X EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in four seconds.
The interior of the coming EV features 32 storage compartments with ergonomic designs, and its trunk offers 616 liters (21.8 cu.ft) of storage space. Other features of the EV include a sensor suite featuring dual Nvidia Orin-X SoCs, LiDAR camera, and millimeter-wave radars that support the SUV’s advanced smart assist driving functions “with multiple redundancies.”
ZEEKR has not revel information such as time of deliveries and pricing. Bit it is expected that the 7X will be priced competitively to the Tesla Model Y ($35,220) or RMB 249,900 in China. For future updated stay tuned.
