Here is good news for Nissan lovers. Nissan’s global product strategy officer, Ivan Espinosa, hinted that the new Nissan GT-R would revive in the electric version.  The buzz about the electric Nissan GT-R started when the brand ha unveiled the Hyper Force EV concept, claiming it “gives a glimpse” of the electric GT-R of the future last year October.

Looking like a mini Tesla Cybertruck in sporty version, the Hyper Force could pack even more power. It is powered by all-solid-state battery it claims the electric supercar boost up to 1,341 horsepower, more than the Tesla’s Cybertruck “Cyberbeast” model’s 845 horsepower.

The concept was developed by NISMO racing team to bring maximum performance. It features two-tier structure under the hood for downforce, an added rear diffuser directs airflow, frond fender lips, wide wheel arches and a rear wing.

Talking to AutoCar, Espinosa said, “The future interpretation of our really high-performance cars will likely be electrified.” He further added that, “ it is not only because of our brand direction but also because, geographically, regulations are pushing us in that direction.”

While hinting about GT-R Nissan’s global product strategy boss said, “You can also imagine a few of our key nameplates having a Nismo version. The fact it is electric will help: making electrified sports cars will make it easier to bring them to many markets that are restricted today.”
