Genesis GV60 Magma (Expected:-2024)
Genesis, Hyundai luxury brand is expanding its performance lineup with the new GV60 Magma crossover, Brand has previews the upcoming EV ahead of the New York Auto Show. Genesis says the forthcoming GV60 Magma performance variant will share its platform with the current GV60, similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6. The concept styling features include a lowered stance on 21-inch wheels shrouded by large, vented wheel arches, a rear diffuser and the requisite rear wing. The current GV performance features a dual-motors setup producing up to 483 hp. The GV60 will blend any increase in performance with the luxury trimmings the brand is known for. Powertrain details are not disclosed, however it is expected to share hardware with the 576-hp Kia EV6 GT or the 641-hp Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.
The GV60 Magma aims to top its sibling in the power output, possibly exceeding the Ioniq 5’N’s 641 p. It is also expected that the EV will come with numerous drive modes, adaptive suspension tune with adaptive diapers, selectable synthesized audio to accompany the nearly silent powertrain and a high-tech luxurious interior.
