Tesla is now offering delivery of the refreshed Model Y within two weeks for new orders in China, raising questions about whether demand for the updated model is already slowing.
Last month, Tesla introduced the refreshed Model Y in China, featuring an updated design and new features that align it more closely with the latest Model 3 refresh. Deliveries of the Long Range AWD variant have now begun, alongside the opening of orders for the Standard Range RWD and non-Launch Edition models.
Earlier reports from China suggested hundreds of thousands of orders for the refreshed EV model, which wouldn’t be unrealistic given its status as one of the best-selling EVs. However, Tesla’s latest delivery estimates are casting doubts on those claims.

Additionally, insurance registration data indicates that Tesla’s 2025 deliveries are down by approximately 7,000 units compared to the same period last year.
